One key problem in computer vision is that of registering images of a same scene taken in different conditions (different sensors, illumination, time moments, after motion). Despite genetic algorithms (GAs) seem an appropriate tool to tackle this problem, little work has been done in this respect. This project is aimed at exploring the use of GAs for image registration.
